Hello! My name is Alice. I'm a single mother, with one daughter who's my pride and joy.
Now that my daughter is away at college, I really enjoy my quite time. It's this time that I either enjoy reading a good book, cross stitching while listening to good music or watching football or visiting/talking with good friends.
I work full time so I don't have as much quite time as I'd like, but I really enjoy my job as much as I do my quiet time. OMG I must be off my nut or something, I can't believe I said that. Anyway, I'm part of an implementation team, developing a new personnel system for our internal use.
Terry Brooks has a wonderful fantasy series called the Shannara Series which I am currently reading.

I love cross stitching! I find it relieves stress and relaxes me better than anything. I started stitching years ago, and continue doing it off and on as the mood hits me. Over the years I've become a rotation stitcher hoping to finish more projects sooner rather than later.

I started playing around with a graphics programs called Paint Shop Pro. All I did was manipulate graphics to create new images, etc. In doing so I came across a group called FlyByNightGraphics (FBNG), dedicated to PSP addicts offering excellent tutorials for learning PSP. I also wrote a few tutorials for use by other people who have a passion for learn about this wonderful program. The tutorials I created for use with PSP can be viewed HERE
My journey has me dabbling from time to time with genealogy researching my family surnames. However this has not been easy as task as there isn't anyone left who can pass on additional information that may assist me.
