For this tutorial you will need:
JASC's PSP
Filters Unlimited - The demo version of Filters Unlimited contains all features of the full retail version, but you can't apply any filter to the actual image. You must have the actual filter to benefit from this tutorial.
This tutorial is my own creation playing with Filters Unlimited. Any resemblance to other tutorials is purely coincidental. This tutorial was made using PSP7, but should be easily accomplished using any version of PSP.
When you begin this or any other projects, you should save as you go. Start your project, then do a File/Save as to save your project to a folder where you normally keep PSP projects. Then save (CTRL S) after every step or so. Saving often helps cut down on the frustration of losing it during glitches.
To compliment your background image from the previous tutorial, we are going to make another tile for use in tables ad the one shown here.
Lets Begin!
Cloud Tiles
Open a new transparent image, 100 x 100, or whatever size you wish, flood fill with white.
Set your foreground and background colors to your choice. For the example here, I am using #FF0000 as my foreground and #FFFFFF as my background.
Go to Effects/Plugins/ICNet Software/Filters Unlimited, the following dialogue box will open.
From the Navigator tab, select Render and Clouds (fore/background colors). Play with the cloud type until you find something pleasing to the eye. Select Apply.
Your tile will be the color & shape you selected from the Filters Unlimited preview box. Save your tile and get ready for part 3.
