For this tutorial you will need:
JASC's PaintShop Pro-
Eye Candy 4000
And this file of goodies
. I do not know exactly where I got the files in this goodie bag. If you know who these goodies belong to, please let me know so I can give proper credit.
Your goodies includes the following:
SFA_Mother Of Pearl Gradient - Goes in your PSP Gradient folder.
pg_rwbstars.psp (Red White & Blue Star) - Put this in your Tubes folder or any folder you choose.
GoldWings.psp - Put this in a folder with your psp files.
NOTE: Use any decorations you wish, do not limit yourself to the ones here.
This tutorial follows my Guardian Angel tutorial, which you can find
HERE with a slight twist. Any resemblance of this tutorial to any other is purely coincidental.
Okay - Lets Begin!
Open a new transparent image 500 X 500, this gives you lots of room to work and you can crop away anything not needed later.
Set your styles to the following values:
Stroke = Null
Fill = Gradient

Select the SFA-MotherofPearl gradient with the following settings:

Using your Preset Shapes tool,
select the TearDrop Shape
On your image, draw a robust teardrop as shown below:
Go to Selections/Select All/Selections/Float.
Now go to Effects/Plug-ins/Eye Candy 4000/Glass. Use the Clear Glass default settings, except change the Bevel Profile to Subtle Button and select OK.
Selections/Select None.
Using your Selections Tool
, set to Rectangle, Antialias checked, draw a rectangle around the tip of the teardrop as shown below:
The size of your selection depends on how much of a collar you'd like to have showing on your angel. Once you've made your selection, click on the image inside the rectangle. Go to Selections Defloat.
Add a new Layer and flood fill with your favorite gold fill. DO NOT DESELECT
Go to Effects/Textures/Blinds and use the following settings:
Deselect.
Add a new Layer. Using the PreShape Tool,
, set to Ellipse, draw a circle for the head.
Go to Selections, Select All, Selections, Float and apply the same EyeCandy4000 Glass setting as we did before.
This is what we have now:
Using your Draw tool,
, draw a face on your angel.
Now we are ready to add the stars. If you have not already done so, open the pg_rwbstars.psp file. Resized the stars by 50%, then copy & paste as a new layer on your angel image. Selected the Red star using the selections tool and Promote to Layer. Do the same thing with the blue star. Once done, you can arrange the stars any way you like.
Add a new layer. Using your PreShapes tool, set to Ellispe, line width 10, draw a Halo for your angel filled with your favorite gold fill. Use the same EyeCandy4000 Clear Glass settings we used earlier in the tutorial.
Arrange your halo as you please. If it is not the size you like, use the Deformation tool to adjust to your likings.
Open the GoldWings.psp file or any other wings and give your angel wings.
